A rare Venetian Murano glass bead necklace, with aventurine gold glass decorated with “pulled feather trails”. Circa 1920s. Excellent condition.

From a private collection shown at The Design Gallery’s exhibition “Adornments: Venetian and Bohemian Trade Beads”, opened by best-selling author Tracy Chevalier on the occasion of the publication of her latest novel “The Glassmaker”.
