Description
Arts and Crafts Movement Oak Sideboard, c1905, with large stylised copper panel.
This sideboard has many features including stylised copper bronze handles and large planished copper strap hinges.
All metal details have a rich chocolate brown patination. The two flanking doors have elaborate stylised floral carvings. Four drawers.
Best cut oak throughout the piece.
This is an early fine example of Arts and Crafts with many of the design and style details that the Art Nouveau style took it’s inspiration from.
