Early 20th century Art Deco bronze group of a strong athletic man holding the leashes of four powerful hounds as they strain to be released. The bronze exhibits a rich green patinated surface with excellent hand finished surface detail.
Alexandre Kelety was a Hungarian Sculptor (1918-1940) who used bronze, ivory, marble and ceramics for his work. He specialised in animals as well as childhood as well as producing chryselphantine busts and statuettes depicting dancers and mythological figures in Art Deco style.
