Bespoke Art Deco Contemporary 12 Seater Dining Suite in Burr Walnut

The Design Gallery has recently completed a large commission for clients: a bespoke Art Deco 12 seater extending dining suite in burr walnut veneers, with Art Deco style ‘Cloud’ tub chairs.

This suite has been upholstered in a faux suede.We can also upholster in leather, alternatively the client can provide their own fabric if preferred. The finish on this set is water, scratch and heat resistant. We can also finish in a shellac and burnished wax to any level of sheen required by the client.  Each piece has been hand-crafted by a specialist workshop in the UK. 

We can make to your specifications, most required designs of furniture. We work with you to achieve the best solution with the best materials and workmanship. Our pieces are not mass produced being individually crafted. We help you to choose the form, veneers and finish. The veneers can be chosen with the client to achieve the best result. We involve the client at all times in the process.

Projects vary, for example; from a single coffee table, to cabinets, to large items such as this dining suite.

We have completed projects for private and commercial clients as well as interior designers and architects. This includes boardrooms (x32 Mackintosh chairs), film sets and many personal requests. Designs can be provided by the client using images and verbal description or they can be based on our own range of designs.

We have supplied 10 desks for the film ‘Genius’ (Colin Firth, Nicola Kidman etc) and have also completed projects for top artist exhibitions, apartment lobbies and film producers internationally. The Design Gallery specialises in Art Deco and Arts and Crafts designs, we also accomodate other periods as required, including modern designs.
