Art Deco Czech Opalescent Glass Beads 1920s

Czech 1920s opalescent glass beads, newly strung with Aurora Borealis facetted crystals and a silver clasp. These beads resemble Lalique’s opalescent glass of the Art Deco era and are highly collected. Excellent condition.

Shown in The Design Gallery’s exhibition “Adornments: Venetian and Bohemian Trade Beads”, opened by best-selling writer Tracy Chevalier on the occasion of the publication of her latest novel, “The Glassmaker,” which is set on Murano.
