Dmitry Lisichenko attended the Moscow Art Lyceum and Moscow State Academic Art Institute. He worked initially as a restorer, repainting murals of Moscow cathedrals. later he developed his current interest in romantic and genre subjects, with meditative and enigmatic female figures. He exhibits at the Medici and Albemarle Galleries in London and his work is collected worldwide.
