Description
Art Deco Dining Suite attributed to Hille: geometric dining table with 4 single dining chairs plus 2 carvers, Walnut veneers with burr walnut and Macassar ebony banding. The chairs are covered in a cream leather in excellent condition. The suite comes with accompanying 10mm glass. c 1935.
This suite is an excellent example of the British Art Deco design that was lead by a few designer/maker companies such as Hille, Epstein, Maurice Adams and Waring and Gillow.
