Description
Nipper was the official logo of HMV (His Master’s Voice), the record label created in 1901 by The Gramphone Co. Ltd. The original painting by Francis Barraud of a Jack Russell Terrier listening intently to a gramophone player (then a phonograph) was created in 1898. This lovely painted plaster figure is in excellent condition and is a very scarce, large model.
