Description
Ercole Moretti created fine quality beads in Venice from 1911. These 6 layer Chevron Beads in red, black and white are featured on the Moretti sample card (see Sibylle Jargsdorf). A rare find, excellent condition, no noticeable wear. Chevron beads were the most prized of the Venetian beads in Africa, worn by tribal leaders and their wives for centuries.
