Are you seeking a piece of furniture for a specific space? The Design Gallery also offers a bespoke furniture service with a full design service. A wide range of woods and finishes – from water- and heat-resistant matt to hand-polished surfaces – are available. Clients can specify their own upholstery, varying the firmness of seats. The Period Designs bespoke collection is made in the workshops in Sussex which restore our original furniture.

The Design Gallery was launched in 2002 to specialise in progressive design movements of the 19th and 20th Century. We met whilst studying at Sotheby’s Institute of Art and discovered that we shared a passion for design, especially Art Deco, Art Nouveau and the Arts & Crafts Movement.
