The Design Gallery offers a bespoke furniture design and furniture making service. Using our experience specialising in original Art Deco and Arts and Crafts Movement furniture, we have created a wide range of pieces for clients during the last nine years. From Arts and Crafts inspired dining suites to seat 12 people, to 50 Glasgow School style chairs for one of London’s leading academic societies. Art Deco Contemporary is a collection of 16 pieces that John has designed including bookcases, sideboards, display cabinets, bedroom furniture, lounge suites and armchairs, dining chairs, console and coffee tables. Veneers are selected by the clients. All of the pieces are handcrafted in Sussex.

The Design Gallery was launched in 2002 to specialise in progressive design movements of the 19th and 20th Century. We met whilst studying at Sotheby’s Institute of Art and discovered that we shared a passion for design, especially Art Deco, Art Nouveau and the Arts & Crafts Movement.
